March 17, 2020
As you all know, we are in the middle of a crisis that has caused great concern for many around the world. As we continue to listen to world, state, and local health officials and also our desire to demonstrate care for both you, our tribe, and our community. We have made a decision to move our Sunday service only to online, streaming on Facebook, at 10 am, our usual time.
Our hope is that you will participate in home, with a neighbor, a small group, or with your significant other. The service will be available on our website shortly after we stream it live. We encourage you to be intentional and schedule this time just as you would on a typical Sunday morning. Be reminded that these resources are not just for us, but also to better position us to serve our neighbors during this time of great need. You can find the stream live here True North-Community Church and will also be available to review on our Sermons page.
This will be our plan until further notice for Sunday gatherings. At this time our baptisms that were scheduled for this Sunday, March 22nd, will be rescheduled as soon as it is deemed safe by officials to start gathering again.
Be sure to stayed tuned to our website and our Facebook page for more updates as they become available to us. Thank you for your understanding and remember in times like this that it is important that we don't freak out and fail to trust God. We need to be good neighbors and faithful witnesses to our community and world.
Remain hopeful and wise. God has not left us, He has simply provided us a unique opportunity to minister to one another, our community, and our world, let's not miss it!
We will continue to monitor the situation week by week and update this page with any new information or changes in the plan moving forward. To ensure that you receive information as quickly as possible, check back here for updates or follow us on our Facebook page.
